or:In what year Jesus Christ was born?
or:A chronology of Jesus aims to establish a timeline for the historical events of the life of Jesus. Scholars have correlated Jewish and Greco-Roman documents and astronomical calendars with the New Testament accounts to estimate dates for the major events in Jesus' life. Two methods have been used to estimate the year of the birth of Jesus: one based on the accounts of his birth in the gospels with reference to King Herod's reign, and the other by working backwards from his stated age of \"about 30 years\" when he began preaching. Most scholars, on this basis, assume a date of birth between 6 and 4 BC with Saturday April 17, 6 BC / 17.4.748 AUC / 29 Nisan 3755 HC being the most likely candidate.
or:The bible indicates Jesus was born in the fall of the year., Jesus was about 30 years old when he came to John to be baptized. ( Luke 3: 21-23 ). He was baptized most likely in fall about October 29C.E. Counting back 30 years would bring us to fall of 2 B.C.E. as the human birth of the Son of God. Even though the bible did not give us a precise date of Jesus birth, it did give us information on events that led us to the date 2B.C.E. One fact we know is that Jesus was not born on the 25 of December, because shepherds were tending to their flock in the field, and since December were a month of winter, it's no way shepherds will be tending to their flock outside in the freezing cold. For more information on this topic or any other questions you may have please visit JW.org
or:The Bible does not give the exact date of Jesus' birth. However, it does give us some indication of the time span. Jesus was born approximately six months after the birth of his relative John (the Baptizer), during the rule of Roman Emperor Caesar Augustus (31 B.C.E.\u201314 C.E.) and the Syrian governorship of Quirinius and toward the close of the reign of Herod the Great over Judea. Other factors such as the murder of all boys 2 years and under, point to the possibility of 2 BCE as the year of his birth.
